Some great things happening this month. We have been so lucky with a pretty mild winter this year.
Plus 14 right now- Good Bye snow!! :)

I will be at the Castle Downs Farmers’ Market
Castle Downs Recreation Centre 11520 – 153 Avenue, Edmonton
Year Round. Wednesdays. 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

March 25th I will be taking photos with bunnies. Easter theme- offering 4x6 and Art panels for keepsakes. Come down and join us as there will be different fun things taking place!!

Heritage Days- August 2nd- 4th, 2014. This is Edmonton's biggest fundraiser for the Food Bank each year.

Vegreville Country Fair- August 7th- 9th, 2014

Vegreville: is a town in central Alberta, Canada located on Highway 16A approximately 103 km (64 mi) east of Edmonton, Alberta's capital city. It was incorporated as a town in 1906^[4] and that year also saw the founding of the Vegreville Observer a weekly newspaper for the region.^[5]

A large percentage of Vegreville's population is of Ukrainian Canadian descent and it is home to the world's largest pysanka (Ukrainian Easter egg).^{[6]- wikipedia}

This Week Friday November 16th- Sunday November 18th, 2012- “A Very Beary Christmas” for the Tri-community Festival of Trees.
This year the Festival will again be held in Stony Plain at the Heritage Park pavilion located on theagricultural grounds just south of Highway 16A.

I will be selling prints, art cards and 2013 calendars.

What a Great Month- Enjoying the Sunshine! :)

Illumination Fotography was at a Grand Opening yesterday and so, I just wanted to mention the Castle Down's Farmers' Market in Edmonton, AB. Last nights event was to officially kick off the opening
of a new market in North Edmonton; 10811- 146 Ave Moose Lodge. It was a great turn out with 947 people; maybe more! It's a Great, Home Made, Home Grown, Home Baked Farmers' Market.

I did the photos for the event and will be posting them at: http://www.castledownsfarmersmarket.ca/ this week.
You can also find a list of Vendors that have been there from the week before and a lot are regulars!

I do have a table and it does displays prints, canvas and sells assorted prints sizes. I also promote photography services; for events and portraits.

I will be at the Castle Down's Farmers' Market, every Wednesday from 4pm-8pm.

The New thing that I could introduce is, the Photo Booth, I am very excited about this! It is a set up that is just like a mini studio set! :) Two custumes right now; the fairy and the Ballerina; any mini shoots are available and the props available, will grow, I am sure :) Starting at $10.00 per person for a 5x7. (15minutes)

Highlights from 2009

Sunday morning, I ventured out of town to a place called Didsbury, AB. It' about 2.5 hours away from Edmonton.
I met up with Kelly Mitchell and Philip Litke whom I've had a pleasure of getting to know. Niagara School of Imaging in ON is where I met these Western photographers.

So, during this visit we made cabbage rolls from scratch and of course we played in the studio. Here are some Images that I captured from the weekend.

Then, I was able to shoot during Philip Like's Cake Smashing Session.

What is this really?

Well, 1 year old's  that attack their birthday cake. Afterwards, their older 5 to 7 sisters finished the cake smashing. The cake never stood a chance!
